If you are looking for some rustic romance wedding inspiration, look no futher! 2 weeks ago I went all out for my Engaged stand and I will show you how that turned out today. Be prepared to swoon!
I can’t believe how quickly the days fly by! The Engaged weekend, with all the wonderful visitors, awesome vendors and amazing crew was a blast! It’s like coming home every time. All these great people are shaking things up in the wedding world and I am more than happy to be a part of it.
Maybe you will remember what I did for the October edition of Engaged, a luscious ‘still life’ table with an abundance of flowers and greenery cascading above it. This year I went for a slightly lighter rustic romance look. To show you all you can do feminine and romantic, without going feeling girly. Some simple wooden boards and trestles are a perfect base for this look. No need to rent expensive tables! Of course I went all out with flowers and greenery again, because nature is my ‘thing’. I just can’t help myself. Just like the chalkboard sign I handlettered states: styling for nature lovers! Image may be NSFW.

Swoon! Can I be in love with my own work? I just love how the colors and materials look together. It makes for the perfect rustic romance look, especially for a late Summer wedding. I can see a little Midsummer Night’s Dream in this too. Oh, that makes me swoon ever more! ♥

On a different note: I am so happy with the work in progress photos Esther made. Because I can not do this all alone. My amazing husband has my back any time, any day! He is a perfect advisor and is the brain behind all things technical I need or think of. This time, he didn’t just help out with the build up, but he was my lovely assistant on Sunday too. Yay! Oh and yes, it was super duper cold on the prep day. Brrrrr!
I want to shout out to my sweet friend Lizette too, who bravely stepped out of her comfort zone to help me on Saturday. I couldn’t ask for a better assistant (or friend, for that matter)! That’s it for ‘thank you speeches’ for today, time to get cracking on all those lovely weddings!
